Keep These Summer Grilling Ideas In Mind

Pulling out your grill and enjoying a backyard cookout with all of your friends and family is one of the best ways to enjoy summer. While burgers and steaks are a grilling staple, they are not the only tasty treat that you can throw on your BBQ this season. Keep these summer grilling ideas in mind that are sure to impress all of your friends and family.

  • Pizza – delete the pizza delivery guy’s number out of your cell phone because once you try grilled pizza that is all you will want. Brush olive oil onto flattened dough that you can find at any grocery store, and then throw it on the grill. Once the grill marks appear, take it off and throw on your desired toppings. Put it back on the grill for a couple more minutes, and enjoy!
  • Clams – grilled seafood is one of the most delicious summer treats you can make. Place the clams in a bucket of cold water with cornmeal to extract any sand, dry off the shells, brush with olive oil, and then put on the grill. After two or three minutes, the shells will pop open, and the clams are ready to eat.
  • Artichokes – for the best artichokes you will ever taste, throw them on the grill. Make sure to boil them before you go outside, and then slice them in half. Scoop out the first few layers, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt. While grilling, turn the artichoke occasionally. After grilling each side for four to five minutes, take off the grill, squeeze on some lemon juice, and enjoy!
  • Pineapple – slice a pineapple into rounds, and throw it right on the grill. Cook them until they are brown, about three minutes per side, and enjoy a little tropics in your own backyard.
