1st Annual Futsal Festival
What better way to spend a Saturday than enjoying a fun and exciting futsal game! Make sure to bring the whole family out to Fahringer Way in La Habra this Saturday, January 17th and enjoy the 1st Annual Futsal Festival!
The festival starts at 11 a.m. and goes until 4 p.m. and is fun for people of all ages. The first ever Futsal Festival is the perfect opportunity for the local community to experience what futsal is all about. Futsal is a variant of the association football, or American soccer that is typically played indoors on a smaller field. Developed in Brazil and Uruguay, futsal is played with five players on each side.
All of the futsal games and activities are being put on by Toque. There will be many different games throughout the event, including Futsal Exhibition Games, Youth Pick Up Games, and different Futsal Activities, including juggling, footwork drills, tennis soccer, target shooting, one vs. one battle, and more.
In addition to the exciting games, there will also be food, music, giveaways and much more! Anyone is welcome to play in any of the games, but all participants must be at the event by 10 a.m. to check in. If you are planning on participating, make sure to wear comfortable tennis shoes and plan to have fun!
